Sangeet, baraat & reception

The part of the wedding your guests will talk about

DJs, live bands, anchors, choreographers, dhol and baraat production — with the sound, lighting and stage built to match the room.

Good sound matters more than a big LED wall

Most sangeet evenings fail on audio, not on ideas — a mic that cuts during a speech, a track that starts late, a DJ who cannot hear the anchor. We spec sound for the actual room and run a full rehearsal before guests arrive.

Performances, entries and speeches all sit on the same run sheet as the food service, so the evening moves without dead time.

Plan the evening
By function

Each evening needs a different plan

01

Mehendi & haldi

Daytime sound, dholak or a folk act, and a playlist that works while everyone is seated and being applied to.

02

Sangeet

Rehearsed family performances, an anchor holding the sequence, cue-perfect tracks, and a DJ set that starts before the energy drops.

03

Baraat

Dhol, band, trolley sound, cold pyros and a route plan agreed with the venue so the procession does not stall in traffic.

04

Wedding & phere

Shehnai or live instrumental, discreet mics for the pandit, and volume that lets elders hear the rituals.

05

Reception

A couple entry that lands, background sets during greeting, and the floor opening at the right moment rather than at midnight.

06

After-party

A smaller room, a different playlist and a licence check — planned in advance so it does not depend on who is still awake.

Common questions

About music, permissions and timing

All questions

What about the loudspeaker deadline?

We build the evening to finish the loud portion within the permitted hours and keep a low-volume plan for after. Where a permission is needed, we apply for it in your name well ahead.

Can the family perform without professional practice?

Yes. Two or three choreography sessions, one on-site rehearsal with the actual sound, and cue sheets for the DJ are usually enough to make a family sangeet look effortless.

Can we book only sound and lights?

Yes. Production alone is a normal booking, and we will still hand your DJ or band a run sheet so the evening does not fall apart between acts.
