Cost, quotes and payments
What does a wedding planner in Indore actually cost?
It depends on guest count, venue and how many functions you are hosting. Planning and coordination is usually charged as a percentage of the total wedding spend, or a flat management fee for smaller weddings. Décor is quoted separately and itemised. You get the full figure in writing after one conversation.
Why is there no price list on the website?
Because any number we published would be wrong for most people reading it. A 300-guest wedding in a community hall and a 900-guest wedding at a five-star hotel are different businesses. We would rather give you a real figure for your wedding than a headline figure for nobody’s.
Is the first consultation really free?
Yes — around 45 minutes, at our Nipania office or on a call, with no obligation. You also get the itemised budget and function plan afterwards at no cost, even if you decide not to work with us.
How does the payment schedule work?
Usually 25% on confirmation, 50% thirty days before the wedding when vendor advances fall due, and the balance after the last function against a final reconciliation. Everything is invoiced with GST and paid by bank transfer.
Do you take commissions from vendors?
Where a vendor or venue offers a trade rate, we pass it through and show it in your sheet. Our fee comes from you and is stated separately, which is what keeps our shortlists honest.
Can the quote change later?
Only if you change something — more guests, an added function, a different flower. Any change needs your written approval before it is executed, so there is nothing unexpected on the final invoice.
Booking and timelines
How far in advance should we book you?
Four to six months is comfortable for a full wedding, and two months is workable for décor alone. Peak dates between November and February go first — if your date falls there, check availability early even if nothing else is decided.
Our wedding is in six weeks. Is it too late?
Not necessarily. Décor and production can be delivered in three weeks if the venue is booked. Call and tell us the date — we will say yes or no the same day rather than string you along.
How many weddings do you take at once?
A limited number each season, and never two on the same date. It is the reason we sometimes turn work away in December, and the reason your crew is never shared.
What do you need from us to start?
The date or the month, a rough guest count, the city, and whatever your family has already decided. That is enough for a first plan; the rest we work out together.
Décor, vendors and design
Can we use our own caterer or photographer?
Yes. Many families already have someone from a relative’s wedding. We coordinate with them exactly as we would with our own vendors, and we do not charge a mark-up for bringing them in.
Do we see the design before we commit?
Always. You get a 3D layout drawn to your venue’s measurements. If you do not like it, we change it; if you decide not to go ahead, there is nothing to pay for the design work.
Fresh flowers or artificial?
Both, and we will tell you where each is worth it. Some elements need fresh flowers to look right up close; others read identically on camera at a third of the cost. The difference is shown in the quote so the choice stays yours.
What if the venue has its own decorator?
Several Indore hotels do. We check the property’s policy before quoting, and where an outside decorator is allowed we handle the deposit, access and setup timings ourselves.
Can you match a picture we found online?
Usually we can get very close, and we will be honest about the parts that will not work in your hall — ceiling height, entry width and seasonal flowers are the common limits. Send the picture and we will mark up what changes.
Travel, the day itself, and what if
Do you handle weddings outside Indore?
Regularly. Ujjain, Dewas, Dhar, Mhow, Maheshwar, Mandsaur, Ratlam and Khargone are all within our normal working radius, and we have executed weddings as far as Amravati. Travel and stay for the crew is shown as a separate line in your budget.
What happens if something goes wrong on the day?
Someone from our team is on site from setup to teardown with a backup plan for weather, power and late vendors. Your family gets one phone number, and that person has the authority to fix things without asking you first.
What if it rains?
For any outdoor function we carry a wet-weather plan — covered structures, a fallback indoor layout and a decision deadline agreed with you in advance so nobody is improvising two hours before guests arrive.
Do you take care of permissions?
Where a loudspeaker permission, road closure or property clearance is required, we apply in your name and follow it up. Statutory fees are shown at cost in the budget.
