Terms of Service

These terms cover how we quote, book and deliver work. Your own wedding is governed by the signed proposal and payment schedule we agree with you; where the two differ, your contract wins.

Quotations

Quotes are itemised and valid for 15 days unless stated otherwise. Rates depend on your date, venue, guest count and the season, and a quote issued for one date does not carry over to another.

A quotation is not a booking. Your date is held only once the confirmation advance is received.

Booking and payments

The usual schedule is 25% on confirmation, 50% thirty days before the first function, and the balance after the last function against a final reconciliation. Your proposal states the exact schedule for your wedding.

All payments are by bank transfer against a GST invoice. Taxes are shown separately. Statutory fees and permissions, where required, are billed at cost.

Changes to scope

Additional guests, functions, décor elements or production change the cost. Nothing is added to your bill without your written approval first, and we will tell you what a change costs before it is executed.

Requests made within a week of the wedding may be limited by vendor availability and material lead times. We will say plainly what is possible.

Cancellation

If you cancel, amounts already committed to vendors, venues and materials on your behalf are non-refundable. Anything not yet committed is returned. We will show you the reconciliation.

If we cancel for any reason of our own, every rupee you have paid is refunded in full.

Postponement

Where a wedding is postponed, we carry your advance to the new date subject to our availability and to any amounts already spent with vendors. Peak dates cannot always be matched, and we will tell you honestly what is open.

Design and substitution

Designs are approved by you from a 3D layout before execution. Flowers and natural materials vary with season and market supply; where an exact variety is unavailable, we substitute the closest equivalent of equal or better quality and tell you in advance wherever time allows.

Venue conditions

Setup depends on the venue giving access at the agreed time and providing the power, water and clearances stated in its own contract with you. Where a venue restricts outside décor, charges an entry fee, or hands over late, the effect on the design and the cost is outside our control — we will always flag it before you book.

Third-party vendors

Caterers, photographers, entertainers and transport providers deliver under their own terms. We select, brief, coordinate and hold them to your run sheet, and where they are contracted through us we take responsibility for managing them. Vendors you appoint directly remain your contract.

Circumstances beyond control

Weather, power failure, transport disruption, government restrictions, strikes and similar events can affect a wedding. We carry contingency plans for the ones that can be planned for, and we are not liable for losses caused by events genuinely outside our control.

Damage and safety

Our structures and equipment remain our property and are removed after the function. Loss or damage caused by guests to hired items is billed at cost. Our crew follows the venue’s safety rules; open flame, fireworks and similar elements are used only where the venue and local authorities permit.

Images and confidentiality

We use photographs of your wedding in our portfolio only with your written permission. Your guest list, budget and family details are kept confidential and are not shared beyond what a vendor needs to do their job.

Website content

Photographs, text and designs on this website belong to Shaadi Metrics or to the couples who permitted their use. Please do not reproduce them commercially without asking. Images show past work and are illustrative — what your wedding looks like is set by your approved design, not by this site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh. We would much rather resolve anything by talking first — call us.
